NEW Heat Maps
|
The results are in! Want to know if YOU live in a hot spot?
These maps offer us a snapshot of a typical really hot day so that we can better understand how heat interacts with our landscapes, both built and natural, throughout the day. We can use these results to inform plans and policies, further research, and target outreach, resources, and neighborhood level interventions to reduce heat island effect and help community members, ecosystems, and infrastructure deal with extreme heat.
